Its been a quite start to the year .. snow stopped play for a while, but with the weather improving were seeing more bums on saddles. We've taken this time to remodle the workshop. which finally with a lot help is almost finished

Jon and Rob have started a few mid week Xc rides from the shop, wednesday evenings 6 - 6.30 its best to give use a call before to comfirm the ride. lights are needed but if you need to borrow a pair ring the shop few day before.

An ongoing work of fiction, The Apprenticeship, by Malc Cowle follows the adventures, life and times of Michael Hand, a keen cyclist and apprentice serving his time in the A.E.I.factory in the Openshaw area of East Manchester in the 1960’s. The first five parts are First Love, Leviticus - Leviticus!, Circumstantial Evidence, No Surrender and The Assasin & The Cyclist. A sixth part is in progress. Other books are A Tale of Two Festivals - The Devil's Jig (fiction) and The Adventures of a Bicycle Frame Builder - Old Enough to Know Better (autobiographical).
