Terms and Conditions for Repair, Storage Charges and Disposal of Uncollected Bicycles
- Collection of Repaired Bicycles
Customers are required to collect their bicycle(s) within seven (7) calendar days of being notified that the repair work has been completed. Notification will be provided via the communication method agreed upon at the time of drop-off (e.g., phone or email,). - Storage Charges
a. A storage fee of £10 per week will apply starting from the 8th day after the customer has been notified that the bicycle is ready for collection. Unless we have agreed otherwise.
b. Storage charges will continue to accrue until the bicycle is collected or until it is disposed of in accordance with these terms and conditions. Unless we have agreed otherwise. - Uncollected Bicycles
a. If a bicycle remains uncollected for a period exceeding three (3) months from the date the customer was notified of the repair completion, the business reserves the right to sell or otherwise dispose of the bicycle to recover any outstanding costs, including repair charges and storage fees.
b. Prior to the sale or disposal of the bicycle, the business will make a final attempt to contact the customer using the provided contact information. This attempt will be made no less than seven (7) days before the disposal or sale date. - Application of Proceeds from Sale
a. Proceeds from the sale of an uncollected bicycle will be applied first to cover outstanding repair costs and accrued storage fees.
b. Any remaining balance, after deducting costs and fees, will be held for the customer. The customer may claim this balance within six (6) months of the sale date, after which the funds will be retained by the business. - Customer Responsibility
a. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their contact information is accurate and up to date. The business will not be held liable for any failure to notify the customer due to incorrect or outdated contact details.
b. By leaving their bicycle for repair, customers agree to these terms and conditions, including the potential sale or disposal of their bicycle if uncollected within the specified timeframe. - Liability Disclaimer
The business accepts no liability for loss or damage to uncollected bicycles resulting from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to theft, fire, or natural disasters, once the collection period has passed.
