Withington Cycles has been featured on Manchester’s free new online cycling hub, highlighting to local and afar cyclists where they should shop; which clubs they should join; and where to cycle with a round-up of cycling routes that take you as far as the Lake District, as well as the Peaks. The new online hub created by a local Manchester cyclist at Cyced, looks to inform and engage with cyclists around the Manchester area and support the local cycling economy. Experienced cycle mechanic/ Sales Assistant

for the local, friendly Bike Shop,
Withington Cycles LTD.

Start date 20th may 2019

We are looking for somebody equally passionate about bikes to join our team.

 The ideal candidate would be a keen cyclist and be able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of not only bikes but current cycle specific parts, accessories and clothing.

Candidates should be able to cater for all types of cyclist, from complete beginner or commuter, to keen mountain biker and seasoned road racer.

 Excellent people skills are essential, you must be approachable and welcoming. It is essential that you share our pride in customer service; it’s what stands us apart in an increasingly competitive industry.

 The candidate will be organized, have good communication skills, be self motivated,  reliable, able to sustain high technical and customer service standards,  show initiative and be able to work well as part of a team.

You will ideally have good computer literacy skills and be able to use an EPOS till system to manage stock, deal with customer sales and enquiries and manage the workshop diary.

Part Time 2 days Weeks – Including Saturdays with the potential of becoming fulltime during summer months
